I am here…

I have not gone away! I am still waiting on my computer to be up and running again!

A brief update…

Gabriel is 4 years old and is absolutely incredible! He had his first picture day at school and did awesome!

Jenny can now pull herself up to a standing position and stay up for up to two minutes! She is going to be my handful!

Look what I made all by myself…

I made Gabriel a little birthday cake with a picture of Raphael, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle with the red bandana, on top! I did it all by myself! I baked the cake, made the icing and iced the cake and then drew Raphael’s face on with icing! I am quite proud of myself! I think I will let him eat the cake for breakfast…

Yes, I know that the icing job isn’t the greatest…the icing was too thin when I first started and it was also hot in the kitchen and so the icing was melting and slipping off the cake! Powdered sugar did the trick in making it thicker but it was beyond help in trying to get it smooth…

This was practice…

Gabe has a black eye…

Apparently Gabriel ran into something during recess at preschool today. Therefore he will be sporting a black eye and forehead for his birthday on Friday and he will probably have a yellowish-green eye and forehead for his school pictures next week…

Garage sale last weekend…

Lets see…the garage sale was a success! If anything, my dad loved being able to talk to an assortment of people!  My mom was excited to get rid of stuff, but I managed to sneak stuff back off the tables and hide it in my room downstairs! : )  Everything we didn’t sell went to Good Will.

Before sorting through it all. It was all in the garage.

We brought it into the living room to go through it and price it.

These next two pics are of the stuff laying out on the tables waiting to go out into the yard. I didn’t get any pics of the actual sale because I forgot to do so.

Cats and Dogs are in a tizzy…

Sooo Tang decided he had enough of the downstairs and came upstairs and joined me on the living room couch. This sent the other two cats and two dogs into a tizzy frenzy because this had never happened during the day before! Tang pretty much ignored their protests…except for when the others attacked him every once in a while. His attitude was “I am here to stay and you four are just going to have to deal with it!” He is the biggest animal in this house so he will rule all very soon. He is a good calm kitty. He loves peace and tranquility and balls of socks.

Jenny just crawled her way across the room and is getting into a box of newspaper…and now she is trying to get a singing frog that was buried under the newspaper…ohh wait…now she has Gabriel’s blue Batman …frog…newspaper…Batman…she doesn’t know what she wants to play with…newspaper…she is very busy…sigh
